Solarfold folding doors are constructed with aluminium so are maintenance friendly and comply with current building regulations.
Sections of all of our folding doors contain a polymide thermal barrier to reduce any cold bridging therefore excellent thermal properties can be achieved.

The standard finish for the Solarfold range of aluminium folding door systems is polyester powder coated White RAL 9010. All hardware and door furniture is fitted to complement the door system, standard colours are Black , White or Silver. Rubber gaskets and hinges are Black with the hinges mounted within the weatherseal sightline. We advise all installations within 5000 metres from the sea or to be used in swimming pool locations are powder coated to a 60 micron thickness for marine environment . All our doors are powder coated to any RAL colour (over 256 colours available). Even different colours are available to the inside and outside (dual colour) if you wish. Most colours can be applied in a matt, semi gloss or a full gloss finish.

As a customer you should only trust systems that have been fully tested and certified. The Solarfold range of folding door systems have been tested in controlled environments. They have been subjected to prolonged air pressure and water permeability tests in order to be certified with the following results:
